Joep is a partner at INGEN HOUSZ. He focuses on venture capital and growth equity investments (including related exits), intellectual property and licensing, and commercial partnerships. Joep also frequently acts as business mediator in conflicts between founders or shareholders.

Joep previously worked as a commercial/IP and competition lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam). He then joined PHYSEE as Head of Partnerships and Legal, where he headed PHYSEE’s commercial partnerships with global companies in the construction and coating sector.

Joep is a visiting lecturer at Radboud University and holds LLM degrees in Private European Law and Information Law (both cum laude). He also studied at New York University on a McKinsey Grant.
